About Colby
Born on November 27th and raised in a small south Texas town, Colby had dreams too large for her surroundings. Prior to her parents placing her in a talent agency in San Antonio, Texas, Colby received the initial training for her entertainment career performing in musical theatre, church musicals, and continuing the tap and ballet classes she began at the age of two years old. At ten years old, Colby convinced her parents to help in her quest of finding a talent agency somewhere "near" by. This "quest" ended quicker than they expected, and Colby found herself as a talent in a San Antonio agency training and auditioning vigorously. Her life was now performing rather than school dances, house parties and boys, but her passion and dream was being brought to life and missing out on the "normal" things paid off. Colby booked her first commercial for a car dealership. After being caught in a thunderstorm with her mother on a 4 hour road trip, Colby was late. She stood there in front of the building banging on the locked door soaking wet and convinced the casting director to let her audition. The rest is history. From Austin, Texas to Nashville, Tennessee to Los Angeles, California, and back to Austin, Colby has recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors degree in the school of Communications.
